What Are Antioxidants?

The job of defending our bodies against attack goes to Antioxidants. They patrol the body, gobbling up free radicals. Once they take on the free radical they become a weaker free radical themselves that won’t do much harm.
There are hundreds of antioxidants, some produced by the body and some we get from food or supplements.

What if I told you there was a pill that could keep your mind sharp and your heart strong well into your 70’s and 80’s? What about a supplement that could help prevent cancer and keep your skin soft and reduce wrinkles as you age? You would probably think that I was a visitor from the future.

These pills do exist and are available to you today. They are called Antioxidants, a collection of nutrients that protect your cells from damage by free radicals and help to maintain your youth well into the later years of life.

What’s a Free Radical?

Free radicals are nasty little terrorists that are the left over result of energy production in our bodies. Oxygen is the fuel that powers energy in our body. However, the byproducts that result from this energy production (free radicals) they are stray electrons that roam around our body and attach themselves to other molecules causing them to malfunction.

“Don’t underestimate the threat free radicals pose to our health and well-being. Scientists now believe that free radicals factor into nearly every known disease, from heart disease to arthritis to cancer to cataracts.
In fact, free radicals are a major culprit in the aging process”.- Lester Packer, PHD

  • Cancer
  • Heart Disease
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Diabetes
  • Cataracts
  • Arthritis
  • Wrinkled Skin
  • Depression
  • Migraines

And numerous other diseases associated with aging.

CoQ10 Antioxidants To The Rescue

There are 2 super antioxidants that can help you feel stronger, sharper and more energetic than ever before. One of them is called CoQ10 (Coenzyme Q10). The other is Astaxanthin (Asta-zan-thin). They help your body in these important ways:

  • Protects Your Body Against Disease
  • Converts Food Into Energy
  • Reduces Dry Skin, Wrinkles, and Age Spots
  • Fights Aging with powerful antioxidants
  • Promotes Cardiovascular health
  • Boosts your Brain function with clearer thinking
  • Protects your eye sight

The five Main Antioxidants are:
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin E
  • CoQ10
  • Astaxanthin
  • Lipoic Acid

These special antioxidants work together to strengthen the entire immune system and slow down aging. When combined, they greatly enhance the body’s ability to wipe out free radicals. They all work together to help each other out.

For instance, when vitamin E disables a free radical, it becomes one itself but now CoQ10 comes in and recycles the vitamin E by donating an electron and turning it back into an antioxidant. This happens hundreds of thousands of times a day in your body.

If you don’t replenish these antioxidants through the right food and supplements, you will be leaving yourself open to damage and eventually disease.

“There is overwhelming scientific evidence demonstrating that those of us who eat a diet rich in antioxidants and take antioxidant supplements will live longer, healthier lives”. – Lester Packer, PHD
