There Is a Link Between Antioxidants Like CoQ10 and Disease That Comes With Aging

Healthy Jumping LadyThe link between CoQ10 and disease are being looked at closely by researchers. It’s is a powerful antioxidant, which neutralizes Free Radicals. The increasing formation of free radicals over time results in damage to cells and tissues. This continuing damage results in disease.

As we get older our natural supplies of Antioxidants start to run low.  Normally, free radicals are neutralized by sufficient supplies of antioxidants within our cells.

However, the standard Western diet is filled with foods that are depleted of important nutrients. This deficiency is believed to accelerate the speed of aging. This attack on our bodies is known as Oxidative Stress.

The Link Between CoQ10 and Disease Shows More as We Age

Unfortunately, the immune system slows down as we age, which is why more older people develop cancer than young. A healthy immune system engulfs and destroys rapidly growing tumor cells when we are young.

As we get older our aging immune system is usually asleep at the wheel, allowing unhealthy cells to go unnoticed. Even when it’s working, the ability to knock out cancers and diseases weakens with age.

So now, scientists are looking to supplementing our bodies with antioxidants such as CoQ10, Resveratrol, Astaxanthin and Lycopene, to name a few. This intervention could possibly slow down the aging process and protect us from age related diseases.

In 1956 the Free Radical theory of aging came about. It stated that free radical damage was responsible for the aging and death of all living things.

Free Radicals May Be The Main Cause of Aging and Disease

The free radical theory blames the toxic attack of Oxidative Stress as a culprit for the cause of many degenerative diseases including Cancer, Diabetes, Parkinson’s, Fibromyalgia and Heart Disease.

Free Radical DamageCoenzyme Q10 is vital in reducing Free Radicals. This makes it a powerful antioxidant which may have an interesting role in decelerating the aging process.
It should be thought of as a valuable investment to prevent the age-related free radical damage.

It may be just the right antioxidant to prevent the energy production decline and tissue damage that increases as we age.
The supplemental use of this important nutrient may be one way to support the immune system as well as to prevent the degenerative diseases that occur with aging.

The CoQ10 Supplement I Recommend

There is a link between CoQ10 and disease. I am fighting back by taking a quality supplement with powerful antioxidants. You can find them on our Brand Review page.

I like being able to take one supplement instead of a whole handful of them. I priced everything out individually and taking one supplement costs less.

I’m 50 years old and have been taking CoQ10 for a few months now and I can really feel the difference. My energy is up and the doctor said my cholesterol is down. I’m glad I made the choice to start taking it.
